Established in 2000 and operating on the Microgaming network, Ladbrokes is a well respected and established UK based bookmaker with strong land based operations. While thier online poker room is still considered a small site, Ladbrokes itself is considered the largest sports betting operations in the world and with over 100 years of experience in gambling.
Inter Poker is a Euro Poker Site
This site does not accept US Players. Why should you choose a Euro site?
Many of the poker sites who appear to be Euro friendly will force their players to deposit in USD or exchange their funds for USD. The problem with this is that the exchange rates fluctuate day to day and they will pay you a lower premium to have your Euros converted to Dollars or Pounds. Likewise, when it comes time to cash out you could lose based on that days rate. This is why Euro poker sites are the preferred poker site for European players. Because if you are going to deposit to a poker site in Euros, Inter Poker will not only allow you to deposit in Euros, but play in Euros.
Ease of Competition
At Ladbrokes, the quality of the competition is easy as long as you are experienced enough to play against unusually aggressive players. If you are a strong low stakes player, show up with a bankroll and you can make a good profit at this site. If you are just starting, this style of play is not conducive to the inexperienced. If you are a high stakes player, this site is much tougher.
Bonuses and Promotions
Ladbrokes has a standard deposit bonus of 2000% up to $1000 bonus. To reach the bonus, you need to wager the total amount you deposited within 45 days. This is generally fairly easy to do, so the bonus works itself off fairly quickly. To receive your full bonus you need to accumulate 10 times the number of Player Points in relation to you initial deposit. The bonus must be cleared within 45 days of activation. For an extraordinary bonus such as this, the clearing requirements are quite reasonable. One thing that we find annoying is the bonus is not automated, once cleared, you need to submit a claim, after which you will receive your bonus within three business days.
Promotions at Ladbrokes Poker are also generally very strong. Ladbrokes sponsors various Celebrity events and guaranteed money tournaments. Regular satellites are offered for major live tournaments, including the Monte Carlo Millions and the European Poker Tour.
Poker Software
Ladbrokes Poker utilizes an unimpressive stand-alone version of Prima Poker Network by Microgaming. The hand history must be exported to your local computer for analysis and does not list hands played in a session. Their are no avatars, the Interface is slow, and the graphics are among the least appealing in the industry.

Rake/Cashouts/Customer Support
Ladbrokes rake is attractive for the high end player, not good for the low end player. The pot-limit and no-limit is raked at every $5, which is good. While limit games up to $1/$2 are capped at $1.50, rather than the $1 at most other sites, which is not good. The tournaments fees charge 20% for tournaments under $100 (ie. $5 + $1 fee), which is not good. While high end tournaments over $100 can be less than 10%, which is good.
