TJ Cloutier

Born in 1939 in Albany, California, TJ Cloutier was a talented athlete at a young age. His athletic ability earned him a scholarship at Berkeley. TJ would also be drafted by the US Army, and it was here where he started playing Poker. After the Army he played professional football for the Montreal Allouettes, but a knee injury forced him to leave the team. T.J. Cloutier has won more than 50 major poker tournaments and collecting six World Series of Poker bracelets in the process. He is regarded as one of the top players in the world. Although Cloutier has six WSOP bracelets to his credit, he has yet to win the main event. While unsuccessful in winning the event, he has placed in the top 5 four times. The key to Cloutier’s success at the tables is his incredible skills at reading opponents. He is seemingly capable of taking in every detail at a poker table and using them to his advantage.
