John Juanda
John Juanda was born in Indonesia, on July 8th, 1971, and immigrated to the United States in 1990, at age 19. Juanda attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with an MBA from the University of Seattle. Prior to his poker career, Juanda was an accomplished runner and school track star. Not yet 34 years old, Juanda already has 3 World Series of Poker bracelets, and has earned himself a reputation as one of the toughest tournament players around. His consistency is one of the best in the game as, in 2004, John reached an incredible 15 final tables. John is commonly revered by his fellow poker players for his calm demeanor at the table and his entertaining and charismatic personality.
