Huck Seed
Huckleberry "Huck" Seed is a professional poker player. At 6’ 7” tall he has an intimidating stature. He is also a modern day hustler. An avid proposition gambler, Huck once lost $10,000 to Phil Hellmuth on a bet that he could float for 24 hours straight. He followed that bet by winning $24,000 back from Hellmuth by playing 9 Ball at $2,000 a game. Seed has 4 WSOP bracelets and is best known for winning the 1996 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event, and the $1,000,000 first prize.
The final hand of the tournament gave Huck Seed 9d 8d, while Van Horn was sitting with Kc 8c. Van Horn decided to raise, and Seed called. The flop came with 9h 8h 4c, which gave seed a two-pair and a pair with an overcard to Van Horn. As soon as Seed saw the cards, he bet. Van Horn re-raised, and Seed decided to move all-in, and Horn was trapped into calling. The turn came with Ac, giving Horn the flush draw and king overcard- 12 outs. However, the river brought 3s, which gave Seed the title. He also made the final table of the 1999 WSOP event. He eventually finished 6th and was eliminated by eventual champion Noel Furlong. His current total live tournament winnings exceed 3 million dollars.
