Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra was born November 24, 1960 in Jerusalem. In Israel, Elezra worked as an army commando. Currently, he lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since moving to the United States, Elezra has made numerous money finishes in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Omaha, Texas Hold 'em and Draw events.
Elezra’s most impressive tournament victory came at the World Poker Tour (WPT) $10,000 no limit hold'em event at the 2004 Mirage Poker Showdown, where he won $1,024,574. Elezra has become a regular television poker player. He appeared in the second season of the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament and he is currently appearing in the GSN series High Stakes Poker and Poker Superstars 3. As of 2006, he has monied in 14 events and has total live tournament winnings that exceed $1,300,000. |
