What is rakeback?
The rake is how poker rooms make their money. That is the money that the poker rooms deduct from every pot. The average rake is 5% with a cap at $3. There is also a rake on tournaments, where the large portion of the buy in goes to the prize pool. Rakeback is a refund to the player. When a poker player has a rakeback deal they receive a percentage of the rake they pay to the poker room. If you receive 35% rakeback, and get raked $100 in one month, you will get $35 back. The more you get raked, the more you get back. Rakeback is paid directly into your player account by the poker rooms listed below.
