Crandall Addington
Crandall Addington is from San Antonio Texas. He made the final two of the World Series of Poker main event twice, in 1974 and 1978. In 1974, there were only 16 entrants and second place won no money as the entirety of the $160,000 in entry fees were won by the title winner- Johnny Moss. In the 1978 WSOP final hand his pocket nines tripped on the flop, only to be beaten by Bobby Baldwins pocket queens, which also tripped on the flop.
Described by Doyle Brunson as a "No Limit Hold'em Legend" and "one of the most colorful and greatest players of poker history." Crandall Addington was inducted into the poker Hall of Fame in 2005.
