Chip Reese
David “Chip” Reese from Dayton, Ohio, came to Vegas planning to stay the weekend in 1974 with $400 in his pocket. While enjoying his vacation, he played in a poker tournament, won $60,000, and never left. Chip has 2 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and plays high-stakes poker for a living.
In 1991, Chip Reese was inducted into the Binions Poker Hall of Fame at the age of 40. He is the youngest player ever enshrined.
He was one of the collaborators on Doyle Brunson’s "Super System" book and is considered one of the best poker players in the world.
