Andrew Black
Andrew (Andy) Black was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and currently resides in Dublin. In the 1997 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event he lost to Stu Ungar when his AK was cracked by Ungar's AQ. He finished 5th in the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event although at one point at the final table he held over 1/3rd of all the chips in play. In that event he won $1.75 million. Since then he has made a money finish on both the European Poker Tour and the World Poker Tour. His total live tournament winnings exceed $2,000,000. Along with David Ulliott, he is considered one of the two greatest known Irish poker players.
